Sweet Gardenia cakes are best served at room temperature unless otherwise directed. Remove from refrigeration about 2 hours before serving.
Remove any decor from the base and top of the cake before cutting into servings.
Place the board or plate upright next to the cake and using a sharp knife, slice straight down to the bottom of the cake, using the board to support the cut portion of the cake.
Lay the cut piece onto the board flat and cut the row of cake into the desired portion size.
Store any leftovers in cling wrap or airtight container in the refrigerator. Best enjoyed within two days but is good for up to one week.
